Who we are
VocaBom is a vocabulary learning app for students of all ages, including children, published on Google Play by Osli software. Contact: support@vocabom.com.
Who uses VocaBom
- Students study courses. Many are children.
- Parents follow a linked child's learning.
- Teachers follow the students in their classes.
What we collect
Account
- An automatically made 6-digit ID, and a display name if you choose one.
- If you add a password: an email address and the password, handled by our login provider (we never see the password in plain text). An account can start without a password, so a child can begin straight away.
- Your app language and which courses you study.
Learning
- The words you study, each word's level, your answers (right or wrong, question type, date and time), study days and streaks, and an optional study plan or exam date. This makes your progress screens and decides what you review next.
Voice recordings (speaking practice)
- When you use speaking practice, the app records a short clip of you saying a word or sentence. The microphone is used only while you record.
- A clip is kept only until it has been checked once (by a linked teacher or parent, or by you). After that check the audio is permanently deleted. We keep no audio archive.
Classes and families
- When a parent or teacher links to a student (by the 6-digit ID or a QR code), we store that link and an optional nickname.
- A teacher's classes: class name, join code, members, tests the teacher sets (date and units), and messages or practice words the teacher sends to a student or parent.
- Encouragements ("cheers") a parent sends to their child.
- Members of a class can see that class's leaderboard. There is no friend search and no public profile.
On your device only
- Country: to suggest your language and local school courses, the app asks Cloudflare which country your internet connection is in. Only the country code is kept, on your device; we do not store your IP address.
- Camera: used only to scan a QR code when you add a teacher, parent or class. No pictures are saved or sent.
Subscriptions
- If you subscribe through Google Play, we receive only whether the subscription is active and until when. Google handles payment; we never see card details.
What we do not collect
- No advertising, no advertising ID, no tracking for ads, no analytics SDKs.
- No phone numbers, contacts, photos or precise location.
- We never sell data.
Who can see your data
- You see your own progress and answers.
- A linked parent or teacher sees a student's progress and answers and can check their voice clips, only for students linked to them or in their class. This is enforced by the database itself.
- No one else.
Services we use
- Supabase hosts our database, files and logins, on our behalf.
- Microsoft Azure AI Speech made the lesson audio from our own words and sentences. It never receives anything you say or type.
- Cloudflare answers the country check described above.
- Google Play handles purchases under Google's own privacy policy.
Children
VocaBom is made for children as well as adults, so we keep children's data to what learning needs: no ads, no tracking, voice clips deleted after one check, and parents and teachers see only students linked to them. A parent can ask us to see or delete their child's data at the email above.
How long we keep data
- Learning data, links and messages: while the account exists; deleted when the account is deleted.
- Voice clips: deleted after one check.
- Subscription records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires.
Delete your account
- In the app: Settings → Account settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes the account, progress, answers, recordings, links, classes you created and messages. It cannot be undone.
- By email: write to support@vocabom.com with your 6-digit VocaBom ID. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Your rights
You can see your data in the app, and ask us by email to correct, export or delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above and tell you in the app when the change matters.

ما الذي نجمعه
الحساب
- رقم من 6 أرقام يُنشأ تلقائيًا، واسم يظهر إن اخترته.
- إذا أضفت كلمة مرور: بريد إلكتروني وكلمة المرور، يتولاها مزوّد تسجيل الدخول (لا نرى كلمة المرور أبدًا). يمكن بدء الحساب بلا كلمة مرور ليبدأ الطفل فورًا.
- لغة التطبيق والدورات التي تدرسها.
التعلّم
- الكلمات التي تدرسها ومستوى كل كلمة وإجاباتك (صحيحة أو خاطئة ونوع السؤال والتاريخ والوقت) وأيام الدراسة والأيام المتتالية وخطة الدراسة أو موعد الامتحان إن أضفته. بها تُبنى شاشات تقدّمك ويُحدَّد ما تراجعه بعد ذلك.
التسجيلات الصوتية (تدريب النطق)
- عند تدريب النطق يسجّل التطبيق مقطعًا قصيرًا لك وأنت تنطق كلمة أو جملة. يُستخدم الميكروفون أثناء التسجيل فقط.
- يُحفظ المقطع فقط حتى يُراجَع مرة واحدة (من معلم أو ولي أمر مرتبط، أو منك). بعدها يُحذف الصوت نهائيًا. لا نحتفظ بأرشيف صوتي.
الفصول والعائلات
- عندما يرتبط ولي أمر أو معلم بطالب (بالرقم المكوّن من 6 أرقام أو رمز QR) نحفظ هذا الارتباط واسمًا مستعارًا اختياريًا.
- فصول المعلم: اسم الفصل ورمز الانضمام والأعضاء والاختبارات التي يحددها (التاريخ والوحدات) والرسائل أو كلمات التدريب التي يرسلها إلى طالب أو ولي أمر.
- رسائل التشجيع التي يرسلها ولي الأمر لطفله.
- يرى أعضاء الفصل لوحة متصدري ذلك الفصل فقط. لا يوجد بحث عن أصدقاء ولا ملفات عامة.
على جهازك فقط
- الدولة: لاقتراح لغتك ودورات مدارس بلدك يسأل التطبيق Cloudflare عن الدولة التي يتصل منها الإنترنت. يُحفظ رمز الدولة فقط على جهازك، ولا نحفظ عنوان IP.
- الكاميرا: لمسح رمز QR عند إضافة معلم أو ولي أمر أو فصل فقط. لا تُحفظ صور ولا تُرسل.
الاشتراكات
- إذا اشتركت عبر Google Play نعرف فقط هل الاشتراك فعّال وحتى متى. تتولى Google الدفع ولا نرى بيانات البطاقة أبدًا.
ما لا نجمعه
- لا إعلانات ولا معرّف إعلانات ولا تتبّع للإعلانات ولا أدوات تحليلات.
- لا أرقام هواتف ولا جهات اتصال ولا صور ولا موقع دقيق.
- لا نبيع البيانات أبدًا.
من يرى بياناتك
- أنت ترى تقدّمك وإجاباتك.
- ولي الأمر أو المعلم المرتبط يرى تقدّم الطالب وإجاباته ويراجع مقاطعه الصوتية، فقط للطلاب المرتبطين به أو في فصله، وتفرض قاعدة البيانات نفسها ذلك.
- لا أحد غيرهم.
الخدمات التي نستخدمها
- Supabase تستضيف قاعدة البيانات والملفات وتسجيل الدخول نيابةً عنا.
- Microsoft Azure AI Speech صنعت أصوات الدروس من كلماتنا وجملنا، ولا تتلقى أبدًا ما تقوله أو تكتبه.
- Cloudflare تجيب عن سؤال الدولة المذكور أعلاه.
- Google Play تتولى المشتريات وفق سياسة خصوصية Google.
الأطفال
صُمّم VocaBom للأطفال والكبار، لذلك نحصر بيانات الأطفال فيما يحتاجه التعلّم: بلا إعلانات ولا تتبّع، وتُحذف المقاطع الصوتية بعد مراجعة واحدة، ولا يرى أولياء الأمور والمعلمون إلا الطلاب المرتبطين بهم. يمكن لولي الأمر أن يطلب رؤية بيانات طفله أو حذفها عبر البريد أعلاه.
مدة الاحتفاظ بالبيانات
- بيانات التعلّم والارتباطات والرسائل: ما دام الحساب موجودًا، وتُحذف بحذفه.
- المقاطع الصوتية: تُحذف بعد مراجعة واحدة.
- قد تُحفظ سجلات الاشتراك مدة أطول إذا اشترط ذلك قانون الضرائب أو المحاسبة.
حذف الحساب
- من التطبيق: الإعدادات ← إعدادات الحساب ← حذف الحساب. يحذف ذلك نهائيًا الحساب والتقدّم والإجابات والتسجيلات والارتباطات والفصول التي أنشأتها والرسائل، ولا يمكن التراجع عنه.
- بالبريد: راسلنا على support@vocabom.com مع رقمك في VocaBom المكوّن من 6 أرقام. نحذف الحساب خلال 30 يومًا ونؤكد ذلك بالبريد.
حقوقك
ترى بياناتك داخل التطبيق، ويمكنك أن تطلب منا بالبريد تصحيحها أو تصديرها أو حذفها.
التغييرات
إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة نحدّث التاريخ أعلاه ونخبرك داخل التطبيق إذا كان التغيير مهمًا.
